Service Description

Within my therapy practice, I offer the arts to provide what I refer to as the Life-Arts. This is where the arts can be used as a tool for self-discovery to achieve your desired life changes. Writing, movement and the visual arts is used to ‘draw out’ the subconscious in a non-threatening way. We can use the arts to discover truths about ourselves and our lives, and to rebuild and retell our story in a more rational way. This is to bring clarity to the stories that we have been telling ourselves about our lives and who we are. Once we have a clearer understanding, we can begin to visualise our potential and the positive change that we can make. The therapeutic arts provide a safe space for you to explore your best self and the new life that you want to shape. The spaces in-between are to rest within the lines of a poem such as this is a gift momentary to be taken as the story receded becomes again to be restated remade and retold c. Maree Brogden 2019 ADDITIONAL INFO Session prices are $160. Longer sessions are available at an extra cost, if requested in advance. Government subsidy is available for applicants who meet the criteria to receive ACC counselling or WINZ funds. PRACTICE LOCATIONS Sessions can be held at anyone of the following locations at the same cost. Let me know your location and preferred times when booking.
